Database for focused natural product research and analysis
AntiBase: The Natural Compound Identifier is a comprehensive database of more than 48,000 natural products and their chemical structures. This collection is key to scientists identifying natural products multiple areas of research including pharma/biotech, agriculture, and food & cosmetics, and more. It is known to be an effective screening tool for compounds with antimicrobial effects that have already been studied. It is also used within academia in the study of these natural compounds.
The 2021 release includes the addition of 5,000 new spectra since the 2017 release. Additional property fields added such as Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), geolocation, and Human Metabolome Database ID. Compound Coverage in this database includes algae, animals, bacteria, cyanobacteria, dinoflagellate, fungi, lichens, myxobacteria, plants, protozoan, slime mold, and yeast.
The latest release also includes as a bonus Wiley's ChemWindow software to search the entire AntiBase collection—plus tools to draw structures, create reports, & build databases.
