An investigation on where and how microplastics can infiltrate different body fluids and body systems can be found in this study.
Raman spectroscopy was used to detect and identify the microplastics in different body fluids from different body systems. KnowItAll software and databases were used to identify spectra of the non-soluble microplastics.
