Phenethylamines are found in drugs that are commonly abused (such as amphetamines and MDMA). This study investigated the ability for Raman to distinguish between phenethylamines regioisomers and structural analogues. KnowItAll was used in the study for spectral matching against its databases. The KnowItAll AnalyzeIt Raman application was also used in functional group analysis of the spectra.
