Plastics Identification Using ATR-FTIR Spectroscopy

This Edinburgh Instruments study used IR spectroscopy to obtain the fingerprints needed to classify different plastics. Spectra were obtained using Edinburgh Instruments' IR5 FTIR Spectrometer equipped with an Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR) accessory and were analyzed using KnowItAll IR spectral library.
