Microplastics (MP) continue to be a major health and environmental concern. While much of research centers on marine MP, there is limited research on MPs in the air. This study looks at developing methods to collect these particles. Different filter types to collect the MPs were tested and Raman and hyperspectral methods were used to characterize the particles. Analysis of extracted samples was performed with KnowItAll software and libraries.
