Edinburgh Instruments conducted a study to investigate how Raman microscopy can be used to distinguish the different layers in paint traces obtained during forensic investigations. Spectra collected by Edinburgh Instruments RM5 Raman Microscope were transferred to KnowItAll Software and identified using KnowItAll Raman spectral library.
