Shimadzu Corporation present the use of KnowItAll software to analyze plastics as part of their FTIR instrument package. The FTIR spectra obtained by the Shimadzu IRXross FTIR Spectrophotometer with QATR 10 Accessory were transferred to KnowItAll and analyzed using the KnowItAll IR Spectral Library for both multicomponent as well as functional group identification.
