This study investigates the translocation of ingested microplastics in marine mammals. A combination of Raman spectroscopy and pyrolysis gas chromatography with mass spectrometry was used for analysis of the sample tissues. The resulting spectra were confirmed using KnowItAll Software and its Raman spectral library, as well other reference libraries.
