This Edinburgh Instruments study uses Raman spectroscopy to examine the different layers in a nicotine transdermal patch. KnowItAll Raman Spectral Library was used in the fingerprinting of the polymer spectra, obtained by Edinburgh Instruments RMS1000 Raman Microscope, contained in the different patch layers.
